About This Business

Twin Stone was founded in 1998 by husband and wife, Plinio I. Medina “Ignacio” and Mayra L. Parente from Miami, Florida. They were inspired by the dedication and attention to detail Ignacio has for his work as a marble mechanic and the business drive Mayra aspired as a business development professional.

Ignacio spent a lot of time mastering his trade and has always been the “go to guy” when Contractors, Designers, Architects etc. had concerns or doubt about a project specifications or outcome. Even today Ignacio is regarded as “the man to make it happen “. His well earned reputation and his constant reliability are catalyst to the way he runs his business. The Twin Stone family’s objective is to preserve that well earned status.

Twin Stone consists of a well rounded team of Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, Project Administrators, Accounting Staff, Sales Representatives, Fabricators, Installers, Laborers and Runners many of which are original members.

Our Designer Showroom and Shop is located in Hollywood, Florida. We are a Minority Business Enterprise, members of the Marble Institute of America, Better Business Bureau, Participants of the Craftsmanship Award and have earned several ASID Awards.
