About This Business
Northwest Natural Stone is locally owned and operated by Tom & Christine Harper. Having worked with natural stone for 18 years, it was always Tom's dream to own his own granite company. Tom acquired the bulk of his experience in the Reno/Tahoe area where he worked his way up from the ground floor to the Superintendent position, working with all aspects of stone for the premier natural stone company in that area. During his 12 years in Reno/Tahoe, he was fortunate enough to get to work on many celebrity mansions and multi-million dollar projects and has incorporated the attention to detail that those types of projects require into his everyday work ethic.
Since starting Northwest Natural Stone, we have continually grown and accredit that growth to our attention to detail, exceptional customer service and constant referrals from our customers.
Over the past 18 years, the natural stone industry has changed a lot. The two biggest changes in the industry are: An overwhelming number of people who attempt to enter the industry with little or no experience; and, natural stone has never been more affordable than it is today. However, in order to get a good price, you need not decide to use a company that does not have the expertise to handle your project. At Northwest Natural Stone, being on a budget does not mean that you will have to compromise Quality.
