About This Business

Dakota Stone Design began as a branch of the Dakota Monument Company in 1987. In 1994 the operation was moved to a new location where they rented office and shop space from Dakota Monument.

Company owners David and Ann Anderson recognized the promising future for natural stone fabrication and brought about its incorporation in February of 1999 and the company continues to operate as an independent business. In the fall of 2004 Dakota Stone Design constructed a separate facility containing office, shop, and showroom space. They continue to operate out of that location.

Dakota Stone Design is an area leader in the custom fabrication of natural stone. Fabricating commercial as well as residential projects, they cover all of North Dakota, western Minnesota, eastern Montana and northern South Dakota. The employees of Dakota Stone Design have pride in their work and stand behind it.
