About This Business

The Ceramic Tile Contractors’ Association of Chicago, established in 1916, is a non for profit construction association dedicated to promoting quality union craftsmanship throughout the Chicagoland area. The Ceramic Tile Contractors’ Association of Chicago is governed by a board of directors and our by-laws.

Our main purpose is to represent all good standing Local 21 (formally Local 67) signatory tile contractor members under Section 9A of the National Labor Relations Act and engage in a fair collective bargaining agreement with Local 67-IL Ceramic Tile, Terrazzo & Granite Union with respect to wages, hours of work and other terms and conditions of employment.

Our principal objectives are also to promote and expand the market for union tile installations while promoting fair and honorable tile installations. The Ceramic Tile Contractors’ Association of Chicago holds monthly meetings at the Wellington of Arlington Heights Banquet. Our meetings are held on the second Monday of each month.

At these monthly meetings we cover a different topic of interest to the Tile Industry. We welcome anyone at these monthly meeting (non-members are encouraged to attend). The monthly meetings also provide an opportunity for contractors, suppliers and manufactures to network with each other.
