About This Business

The history of the company dates back to 1911 when Ervin R. Brooks started a millwork house at its principal location on 23 Mount Hope Ave. in Bangor. The company specialized in woodwork, doors and windows. At one time the company employed up to forty people and had several storage facilities around town. Through the years the business had changed hands several times and by 1976 had deteriorated to two owners and one employee with annual sales of $59,000.Since the purchase in 1977 by Roland and Marie Day, we have grown to state wide service with two locations, 36 employees (six of which are family) and millions in annual sales.

We are one of the few fabricators in Maine that produces tops in all the major surface categories. We have an extensive network of suppliers and can easily acquire most brands of laminate, solid surface and quartz surface. We also have access to an incredible library of natural stone from the world's best quarries.
